Packaging inspection
Machine Vision for Box Inspection
Inspecting boxes for damages on the production line
Inspecting cardboard boxes or similar is an important task on any packaging production line. After the boxes are filled and closed, the final packaged product must be inspected, as damaged or incorrectly closed boxes are not sellable.
The Box Inspection System works according to general rules. All edges should be straight and parallel, and no parts are allowed to protrude from the box.
Installation is at the conveyor belt just after the packaging machine.
The lighting and camera setup allows all edges to be inspected. By using the NIR spectrum, printed decorations do not affect the images or the system sensitivity.
