How to make the Japanese customers happy

It can be a great advantage to be located in another time zone.

Our installations in Japan are used for inspection of glass tubing. If the engineers identify a problem with the equipment during the day, they send us an email before going home from work.

We can access the system via the Internet during their evening, find the issue, and change parameters or setup. Next morning when the engineers come back to the factory they have a message on the machine and in their mailbox that JLI has rectified the problem during the night.

Our customers in Japan tell us that they receive better service from JLI than from their local suppliers. Working in different time zones can have astonishing benefits.
